This was our first meeting of the AWC. 5 people attended and we sampled two scotches, Deanston Virgin Oak and Glenmoranie Lasanta.

Meeting # 3-July 20 2015- Summer Meeting
Our final meeting before our summer hiatus. We had our largest attendance yet with 10, and we sampled 4 Whisky's. 3 Ships, Quinta Ruban, Aberfeldy 12 and Arran 14. .
Meeting # 4-Sept 24 2015- Small but Mighty
This was our smallest meeting yet, with only 4 attendees, but we were treated with a fantastic scotch that is on many of our top 5 lists (Glendronach 15)
Meeting # 5- Nov 13 2015- Grand Tasting
With 4 tastings under our belt, we decided to go with 3 "larger" bottles to celebrate our first 6 months. We tasted 3 more pricey bottles. Kavalan Concert Master, Sullivan's Cove Double Cask, and Auchentashen 18. 8 attended
Meeting # 6- Jan 15 2016- Happy New Year!
Our first meeting of the new year with 4 fantastic and different Whiskeys, Aberlour 16, Oban Little Bay, Glenross Alba and Hibiki Harmony. Was our largest meeting yet with 13 attendees.

7 in attendance for this meeting. Sampled Whiskey of year Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye, Craigellachie and Old Pulteney 17 (Crowd Favorite)

Last meeting before Summer hiatus. 12 attended. Sampled Springbank 12, Jameson Gold Reserve and Sullivan's Cove American Oak.
Meeting # 9- Oct 14 2016 - George Thorogood!
One bourbon, one scotch and one beer... Sampled 2 fantastic whiskeys Evan Williams Single Barrel and Arran 18 Limited, along with a Local Craft Brewery, Trider's Brewery, who brought along their "Rod's Red" for sampling. 13 Attended ... Biggest yet
Meeting # 10- Dec 9 2016 - Favorites Night
Time to revisit some past favorites from previous meetings ... Kavalan, Oban Little Bay and Old Pulteney on the menu, Trider's Brewery coming through with a great location for our meeting... Great hosts. 19 Attended
Meeting # 11- Feb 4 2017 - Intro to Peat
By popular demand our club has journeyed into the world of smoke and peat.. along with a Cask Strength. Sampled Highland Park 12, Talisker 10 and Aberlour A'bunandh. 11 people attended.
Meeting # 12- March 17 2017 - Irish Night 2.0
Luck of the Irish ... we had our 12th meeting on St Patricks Day, and to celebrate we journeyed into Irish Whiskey once again; tasting Redbreast 12, Greenspot and Tyrconnell - Port Finish. We had 12 people attend.
Meeting # 13- May 26 2017 - Season Finale!
Our final meeting before summer hiatus. Was a grand tasting of sorts, We dipped into the kitty to bring some expensive and exclusive bottles in Glenmorangie Signet, Glendronach Parliament and Bunnahabhain 12. All were exceptional and the crowd loved them. We had our largest attendance to date with 23 people attending. Enjoy the Summer, see you in the fall!
Meeting # 14- Oct 17 2017 - Independent Bottlers Night
The craft beer of Whisky; Gordan and MacPhails' purchases casks and puts their own spin on other distillers bottles. Very interesting night indeed... 11 people attended, sampling Ledaig 1999, Dailuaine 2002 and Linkwood 15.
Meeting # 15- Dec 8 2017 - North America
Sampling some different and harder to find whisky's and bourbons from Canada and the U.S. Sampled 2 Canadian Rye's; Forty Creek Founder's Reserve and Wiser's Legacy, 1 American Bourbon; Michter's Small Batch and an exclusive bottle, only available at their Distillery, Glen Breton Battle of the Glen. 11 people attended
Meeting # 16- Feb 2 2018 - Peat Heads!
Back by popular demand, we revisit peat night. The weather did not cooperate but still had a small meeting with 3 fantastic whiskies. We sampled Lagavulin 16, Laphroaig Triple Wood and Ardbeg 10. 7 people attended
Meeting # 17- March 23 2018 - Irish 3.0
A great night to celebrate Irish Whiskey. We sampled 3 unique whiskies, including Westcork 10yr, Yellow Spot and Writer's Tears Cask Strength Limited (Bottle 4923 or 5000). We had 13 in attendance.
Meeting # 18- May 12 2018 - Year Ender
Always a great time at Dayle's Department store. Sampled 3 very unique whiskies from the Halifax Whisky show. Glen Moray 18. Bruichladdich Islay Barley and Gordan and MacPhail's Bunnahabhain Cask Strength. 13 people attended.
Meeting # 19- Oct 12 2018 - Season Opener!
First meeting of the year! Sampled some long sought after whiskies. Balvenie Caribbean Cask, Kavalan Single Malt and Balblair 1999. All were hits, 12 people attended.
Meeting # 21- Feb 2019 - Winter is Coming
Jon Snow you know nothing about whisky... Was able to snag 3 very exclusive bottles of the Game of Thrones special edition whiskies. House Stark (Dalwinnie), House Targaryen (Cardhu) and House Lannister (Lagavulin). 10 people attended
Meeting # 22- May 11 2019 - Seasons Finale
The night was filled with exceptional whiskies discovered at the NSLC Whisky Fest. In the end Irish won the night. We sampled Red Breast 21, Tyrconnel 15 and Glendalough 7. 15 attended.
Meeting # 23- Oct 13 2019 - Seasons Premier
The first meeting of our 6th season!!!! Was a best-of-the-year sampling with 2 of our whiskies landing in the top 10 for the year according to Whisky Advocate. We sampled Glencadam 15, Knob Creek Cask Strenght Rye, and Crown Royal Noble Collection. We had an awesome attendance with 20 attending. Thanks to Donnie C for hosting at "The Store".
Meeting # 24- Dec 6 2019 - HO HO HO !
HO HO HO! Our Christmas meeting has some great surprises. We tested our 3 whiskies blind. We put in a classic, a peaty and an Irish to throw people off. We sampled Oban 14, Port Charolotte and Green Spot Chateau Montelena. Great attendance once again with 15 coming out.
Meeting # 25- Feb 8 2020 - New Years
First meeting of 2020 brought a random spattering and whiskies , but no disappointments. We samples Forty Creek Victory, Glenglassaugh Evolution and Glendalough 13 Mizunara. 11 people attended
Meeting # 26- Nov 26 2020 - Welcome Back
After a long hiatus due to COVID, we were able to have a meeting. We brought out some buys we had been saving from the Whisky show last March. We tried Booker's Boudon 7, Quinta Ruban 14 - Port Finish (Top 10 of the Year) and Glencadam 15.
Meeting # 27- Sept 3 2021- It's been a while!!
After another long break because of COVID, we were back with one of our biggest meetings to date. We had 21 eager and enthusiastic people enjoying our oldest and most expensive whiskey to date at the club. We sampled Canadian Club Chronicles 41 yr old, 23 yr old Wiser's, and Forty Creek Resolve.
Meeting # 28- Oct 22 2021- Happy Halloween!
A good place to have the Halloween edition of the club, non other than the HAUNTED "Store". We had a small but mighty crew with 10 coming out. We sampled Compass Box Hedonism, Penderyn Celt and Little Book Chapter 4.
Meeting # 29- April 8 2022 - Spring Fever
Back after another Covid hiatus but came out with a bang. Had some whiskies burning holes in our cupboards. We sampled Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha, Alberta Premium Cask Strength and Puni Golf (from Italy). we had 11 people attend
Meeting # 30- May 13 2022- Milestone
This was our 30th meeting, what an accomplishment! We had a great sized meeting with 18 coming out. For our season finale, we came out with some big guns. Highland Park 18, one of the most highly rated whiskies ever, Glenmorangie Cadboll and top 20 this year and Ardbeg Wee Beastie, another top

Our 7th year!!! - Thanks everyone for making this club a success. We went international (Asia) for this one. We sampled Kavalan Soloist Ex Bourbon, Nikka from the Barrel and The Matsui Peated. 16 people in attendance.
